Come join us, and find out why flag football is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world!
WHAT IS AMERICAN FLAG FOOTBALL
American Flag Football is a non-contact variation of American Football, similar to how Oztag relates to Rugby! It's a mixed-gender sport, making it accessible for everyone to join in.
With its inclusion in the LA2028 Olympics, Flag Football is rapidly gaining popularity.

The game retains the same principles as the contact game with offensive teams having four attempts (downs) to reach a certain point on the field with the defensive team seeking to halt their progress. If a team succeeds in reaching the endzone they score 6 points and have the option to add a further 1 or 2 points with an extra play. 1 extra point sees the play start 5 yards from the endzone, 2 extra points sees the play start 12 yards from the endzone.

WANT TO KNOW MORE?
Flag football is a form of American football where, instead of tackling, the defensive players try to take a flag from the ball carrier.
This sport is designed to open doors for individuals from various backgrounds and abilities to engage in the game. It now provides pathways from local social competitions all the way to US colleges and even a professional league in the US.

Playing flag football allows athletes to get used to playing in space with others while learning basic movements and skills for success in football and beyond. Flag football also encourages teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship. Players must work together to advance the ball down the field and score points, and must communicate effectively to execute plays and strategies.
