Come join us, and find out why flag football is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world!
WHAT IS FLAG FOOTBALL
Flag Football is a fast-paced, non-contact version of American Football that delivers all the excitement of the game without the collisions. Instead of tackling, defenders remove a flag from the ball carrier, keeping the game safe, inclusive, and accessible for players of all ages and skill levels.
It’s a true mixed-gender sport, designed to bring everyone onto the field together whether you’re new to the game or an experienced athlete.
With its upcoming debut at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, Flag Football is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world.
It’s simple to learn, exciting to play, and built for high-energy competition.

OFFENCE
Offence in flag football is built around speed, precision, and decision-making. The goal is to move the ball down the field using a mix of passing plays, handoffs, and smart route running, constantly keeping the defence guessing. With limited time to act, every play is about quick execution and making the right read under pressure.
The quarterback leads the attack, reading the defence pre- and post-snap and delivering the ball quickly to playmakers in space. Receivers play a crucial role, using sharp routes, timing, and agility to create separation and find gaps in coverage, while also working together to stretch the field and open up opportunities underneath.
Success on offence comes from strong teamwork, clear communication, and trust between players. The best offences stay composed, adapt to what the defence is giving them, and consistently execute turning small gains into sustained drives and finishing in the endzone.
DEFENCE
Defence in flag football is all about speed, awareness, and teamwork. Without the ability to tackle, defenders must rely on positioning, quick reactions, and smart angles to close space and pull flags effectively. Every step matters being slightly out of position can be the difference between a short gain and a big play.
Players are constantly reading the offence, reacting to the quarterback, and anticipating routes before they develop. Whether it’s applying pressure, locking down receivers in coverage, or supporting teammates across the field, everyone has a role in limiting space and forcing the offence into tough decisions.
Strong communication and discipline are critical, with defenders needing to stay organised and trust the system. The best defensive units work together seamlessly to shut down passing lanes, swarm to the ball, and capitalise on mistakes. The ultimate goal is to disrupt rhythm, create turnovers, and get the ball back for the offence.
